Habitat for Humanity of Central Arkansas is excited to announce a “Women Build” event in 2023 sponsored by Airbnb!
This fundraising and fun-raising event is for women of all ages who want to come together to “build homes, community and hope.”
We will kick off the event Tuesday, Feb. 21st with an informational happy hour at the Little Rock ReStore at 5:30 p.m., hosted by Kitchen Tune-Up. There will be wine and cheese, shopping and camaraderie! Chairs of the event are Nikki Crane-Hasty and Amber Banks, architects with respected firms Polk, Stanley Wilcox and Cromwell respectively.
Women participating are asked to raise $250 each from their friends, family and/or employers. In exchange they can attend a Saturday morning tool workshop and have the honor of working alongside a prospective homebuyer one day on a Habitat home build (dates TBD). Oh! And t-shirts and prizes too!
